The only variable part of the combo is what you choose to summon on the opponent's turn with Diabell’s (Dia from now) effect.
The most common targets are Zapper Shrimp, Silvera and Poplar of the White Forest (see required cards).
2 of them are quick effect synchro so their major use is to make another synchro during the opponent’s turn (see other required cards).
-
Silvera is directly an interruption (change opponents monster to face down).
-
Zapper Shrimp can be an interruption on its own (send 1 card to destroy 1 spell/trap) and it’s a quick synchro.
Shrimp+Dia=Chaos Angel (banish 1 card)
Shrimp+Baronne=Vengeance Dragon (put 1 monster in spell/trap zone) or Crimson Dragon (targets Dia to summon Crystal Wing which is 1 monster negate)
- Poplar is a quick synchro and has also the effect that he can put up to 2 White Forest monsters from gy in spell/trap zones as spells (usually Silvy/Rucia since Astellar/Elzette move themselves from gy after Dia's effect), which can be used either to make Snake-Eyes Doomed Dragon (helps turn 3 OTK but costs another spot in extra deck) or as cost for Astellar/Elzette in turn 3 (quite useful in case for some reason Tales won't be available and we used both Reframing and Scourge/Woes).
Poplar+Astellar=Silvera
Poplar+Dia=Vengeance Dragon (put 1 monster in spell/trap zone) or Crimson Dragon (targets Baronne to summon Crystal Clear Wing which is 1 spell/trap negate)
/
The combo can be done exactly the same but changing Scourge for Woes, trading Scourge's omninegate for summon White Forest monster+quick synchro; note that Woes' synchro effect won't be usable at any moment for making Silvera since in the endboard there aren't monsters that can make Silvera with the monster summoned by Woes. Woes becomes usable that way after using Dia's effect, because after that there will be Astellar on field (reborns itself after Dia's effect) and/or Dia in gy (used for a synchro) which can be returned by Silvy or Rucia to reborn themselves.
