Notes & Combos

Let me start by giving a massive shout out to Frohned and Hindy in the Libromancer discord. They have been an invaluable help while deck building.

So what's the deal? Libromancers run Fire (uh…Fire), Earth (Agent), and Dark (Doombroker). These types line up with what VS wants to do. A lot like my Mathmech variant of Libromancer the Libros replace a lot of the non-engine cards for an additional and flexible accompanying engine. This can lead to bricks, so I am playing the IOC/Souls line (the additional Dark type/Ritual monster doesn't hurt either).

The extra deck is a work in progress. I am playing a suite of rank 4s that you can make with 2 Fire or Fire and Razin. The link monsters are generic and fire type based. The latter didn't come up, so you can play a third Rock or some other generic link instead if you want.

I hope you liked this look at LibroVS! The deck is a blast to play. There's no set line or combo. Every first turn is different, and that's when YuGiOh gets good!
