Notes & Combos
Metalmorph is a lovely deck and it provides some genuine fun. The engine's very own monsters are sufficient to win by themselves (which can be seen in the many replays that I will provide), yet there is enough space to include Fiendsmith (with summoning Desirae buffed by Agnumday and Squence being the only purpose - Fiendsmith's Lacrima is there only for the case when you are prevented from summoning Desirae) and a ton of bystials. They interrupt, can be used for Moon bodies, and are good targets for XYZ summon of lvl 6 of your choise (mine being Crazy Beast, followed by Lancer, and ultimately to Zeus). Much of the extra deck is easily replaceable (such as Fiendsmith's Lacrima, Chaos Angel, Spirit, Relinquished anima, and even more). If you have Zoa in your hand and a Fiendsmith starter, start with Fiendsmith first so you can have a negate for a potential special summon of your opponent (Zoa's effect). There is plenty of room for bystials/hand traps ratio tweaking (at one point I even added a small Kashtira engine, it worked okay). With only 90 UR for 1 Fullmetal Dragon and 2 Illusionists, this is cheap enough for a good performing engine, if you already have the other (mostly staple) cards. (Can still pull from the pack for a few more days as of today). It is a breath of fresh air, wins sufficiently enough, and has cute and nostalginc monsters.
