Notes & Combos

At first I was skeptical about building this deck when it released. But I realised I have plenty of gems left, so I decided to just give it a try.

I love how this deck can be paired with plenty of other engines. In just this short time I have already seen a Fiendsmith version, I have tested it with a small Ryzeal engine and like this version: Pure with a little bit of help from Adamancipators.

I definetly like this version the most. It has the least Main Deck clutter, which allows it to use plenty of non-engine. It also can play YEP BLOCK Dragon, which is just a completely absurd card tbh. And with just a bunch of extra cards (Currently I'm going with just 1 Duoterion and an extra Adam Researcher) this deck is also pretty consistent and can extend pretty well through Handtraps.

Combos are not really linear but they almost all revolve around spamming bodies for Gallant, adding YEP BLOCK and with that just adding both Adamancipators and an extra 4. The deck doesn't lock at any point, making the combos pretty easy actually since the only thing you have to keep in mind are zones for Cross-Sheep and general board space.

I have an example of what a full combo could look like on my profile!

I was especially surprised to see how loose the Extra Deck is. Zeus, Ty-Phon, Exciton, Raptite, Crystal Wing and Baronne could all reasonably be changed out for something different. I decided to run with this, as it has plenty of stuff for going 2nd, and also the generic stuff to go 1st and also help the Adamancipators help out as combo starters.

All in all the deck is tons of fun to build and to play, though I have to advise, it is pretty heavy on the going 1st, and not so great going 2nd. Maybe another version can help the deck with the going 2nd issues.

I currently only have 1 Replay saved for this deck. You can find it by the representative cards, it shows what a combo going 1st could look like.

This deck is incredibly non-linear and most of my wins were just comboing going 1st or my opponent scooping after seeing what I was playing.
