Notes & Combos
Introduction:
Bored of the usual Labrynth gameplay? The best counterplay when you go 2nd is pressing "Surrender"? Tired of having your opponent dancing at the rhythm of yellow glares when you just have your 2 useless purple cards?
Then you should try to play it as slop, show em your big fat thick deck.
The inpiration came after i watched some games of the GOAT Fran Navarro, i was pretty suprised how he was able to win with this approach. So i give it a try as well.
The slop is your usual FiendSmith/Unchained packages, filled with handtraps, rollback and lady to get your traps. Good synergy overall (just stop brickin aah moment)
Gameplay :
TLDR; Bait with Lab, get your FS/Unchained stuff going, can lose easily to charmies/roach if you don't open traps / rollback / furtniture.
If you don't open any welcomes i recommend to always start with arias to SS arianne/arianna, if they chain on their effects you will have the bodies to get the slop going.
Thoughts:
Probably i will stick with this variant, since i haven't had this much fun with Lab for way too long.
Lab relying sorely on traps can be quite boring and hopeless vs current meta, there are too many decks that have quick / dodgy plays, you have to rely on lingering traps which personally i don't enjoy.
Overall it was fun playing it as a slop instead of trap heavy, it felt way more versatile, breaking board was fun, ppl throwing everything at your Lab stuff just to get FS/Unchained slopped was hilarious, all happened maybe because i played in M1, not sure that I'll get the same excitement on rated, because I'm not him, im not Fran Navarro.
