Notes & Combos

This is basically NonStopDC's Top 8 list with some slight changes. Huge shoutout to the Evil Eye (EE) DC channel for their help in teaching me the ways of the eye that is evil.

My idea was to see how well Bystials mesh with EE, which is why I'm running Repose instead of Defeat or another Retribution, theoretically for better synergy. However, in practice, I never really got to use Repose, and while Bystials can win some games on their own, they also play heavily into an opponent's Super Poly, so I might take them out for other board breakers like TTT/DRNM.

For the same reason as above, I found myself going more into Cicada King than Machinex, though my main go-to endboard piece was Ashura, whenever I had enough gas. Machinex did its job pretty well whenever I was lucky enough not to run into Super Poly, though.

Pot of Extravagance is not mandatory but it does help with consistency, and we can get away with running it since we don't need the ED outside of the EE boss monsters and Machinex/Cicada/Ashura.

Side note, Evil Eyes Unleashed is a monster of a card, and I truly wish more forgotten archetypes could get something similar to it in the future.
