Notes & Combos
- The number 1 priority is to set up the traps live as quickly as possible; it’s your win con.
- I was surprised at how many wins I got by burn damage vs. lab and fire specifically.
- It is challenging to out-grind them, but you can hang on long enough to seal the deal with double burger + trap = 4800. The lab makes it easier when they use transaction rollback.
- I used the extra deck very rarely, as I prioritized keeping my engine live; it only cames up when I bricked or needed to go for zeus. The most important ones are Chaos Angel and Security Dragon, as they are your only removals for Flamberge that don't trigger the effect. Security Dragon also outs Underworld Goddess.
- The majority of games I lost were due to bricks.
- With so many veiler/imp, playing 5+ ships is a must, it’s also how you can push through boards going second.
- You need multiple hand traps to beat snake eyes. The interruptions in the setup are no problem, but the recursion is the problem. The field spell is how you lose. I’ve been able to sneak some wins by summoning unaffected Valius and forcing them to waste resources into an Underworld Goddess.
