Notes & Combos

This was my first time actually playing in the DC Cup. At first, I just wanted to stress-test the deck and learn how to play this version, but I ended up climbing pretty easily.

The deck isn't perfect, but if you go first, you can use Knightmare Goblin when needed to set up Barrier Statue of the Drought. Since your Megalith monsters are EARTH, you can still make plays and summon either the omni-negate or clear 6+ cards depending on the board state. Even if your opponent outs the Barrier Statue, you still have your Mitsu plays to fall back on.

Going first, this deck has a ton of gas and can power through most hand traps except Droll & Lock Bird. Droll is probably this deck's biggest weakness, which is why I'm running Koa'ki Meiru Guardian. The deck doesn't need its Normal Summon at all, so fitting Guardian in isn't a problem.

There are also lines with Unformed and a large Mitsu name that let you play around Droll, and if your opponent Drolls you, you can even hand-loop the rest of their hand with the Artifact monster.

Overall, I think the deck can still be improved and some ratios could be adjusted, but I'm very happy with how it performed. The deck is good and definitely has potential.
