Notes & Combos

Piloted Simorgh Dinos to DLVL MAX during the WCQ 2023. It was mostly smooth up until DLVL19, it was a little bit more annoying for the final rank up. Overall, the deck is fun to play, but bricky, the biggest challenge is not trowing the mouse on the wall after bricking 3 times in a row. I want to test the G-Golems version eventually.

The Simorgh engine give you a omninegate while taking only a single main deck space, it's probably not as good as scraps or g-golems, but it's a fun twist.

The True King engine can win games outright, both Lithosagym and Diagram can enable the babies and banishing Kitkallos, Rulkallos and Kaleido-Heart against pure Ishizu Tear almost always wins on the spot.

The board you're usually aiming for is Simorgh, Apex Avian, UCT and either Dolkka, Laggia or Dweller. Dolkka is usually better blind, but Dweller is better against Tears, blind Dweller is fine as well. Avian's omninegate gives you some flexibility of what rank 4 to choose and the lack of Nibiru on the meta makes Dolkka less mandatory.

For the non-engine, D.D. Crow is for Tears, but it's not as impactful on other machups. 1 Ash, 1 Imperm and 2 Evenly is mainly because I don't have enough UR to craft more copies. They're also Crossout targets. Evenly did win me a few games. 2 Lost World could be 3, I don't run small world because I don't like it being a -1, you often need all the resources you can get to fight Tear. No Pankatrops because I'm poor.

For the Extra, Dolkka, Dweller, Linkuriboh, Reprodocus and Simorgh are mandatory, Laggia is also good, but more situational, only made it once or twice. Dugares, Pentestag and Borrelsword enable some OTKs, but Accesscode Talker is probably better. Secure Gardna is for when you can't make a link 2 because you bricked or because your opponent interrupted you, so you can at least summon a UCT. The Knightmares are mostly to deal with cards like Bagooska and other floodgates, used them rarely and never made Unicorn, they are generically good, but replaceable.

Bagooska was for when I couldn't set up a proper board or was under Maxx C, useful but not an MVP. Gustav Max came in clutch a few times in the past, but I'm probably taking it out for Elf. I did try Elf in the beginning, the fact that you can't link it off makes it not as good, but I did miss it after removing it. Other cards to consider are Apollousa, Gryphon, Underworld Goddess and I:P.

Overall, a fun deck that can also compete, but it's a little bit too bricky.
