90% of my climb was against tearlaments. it just so happens that rexterm can shut them down. dark law is easier and more consistent to summon over abyss dweller, and has caused many tears to scoop as soon as mask change 2 resolves. not only this, but mask change 2 allows therizia/diplos to dodge imperm, making it a good addition even outside of a tear 0 meta. both tear and the other 10% dont seem to read rexterm, often sitting there not able to activate monster effects, or wondering why their monster crashed when they thought they had lethal battle damage. after dark law and the dinomorphia extra deck monsters, laggia was the only other extra deck monster i consistently used. the rest barely came up, so its safe to banish them for pot.
