Notes & Combos
Same deck build as in my Master I List.
Shoutout to Juless, he might release his list too, used it for a while and its very good too (40 cards)!
I am therefore going to use this text for the following:
Ban Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess - main factor for ruining Master Duel.
Ban Ouroboros - self explanatory, should have happened last list.
Nerf Maliss - still way to powerful, ban one of the Link 1s or at least Splash Mage.
A Ryzeal hit would be nice, semi limit or even limits.
King of the Feral Imps should not have been rereleased, ban it as soon as the Mitsu pack leaves.
Nice to have bans:
Dimensional Barrier
Knightmare Mermaid
I am of course open for more/other stuff.
Would be happy if the only ban on the next list is Apollousa, she is way to game breaking. If you disagree, maybe try playing something else than your Mitsurugi (/Ryzeal) Slop, Maliss or Fiendsmith Gem Knights (Tearlaments) Slop or actually remove her from your list and than try to play. Good luck and have fun with that! (:
P.S. Can't wait for us Branded Players to get the new support and show all the current meta sheep, how it feels to lose to something (remotely close) to broken (because most likely the support is not enough to send us to T1).
Humans reason everything to their liking so it does not conflict with our self-image, but playing the best possible deck does not mean one is a good player. Feel like people are not aware of that yet.
Also telling people to not be allowed to complain, because they could choose to play the best deck is straight (...).
Yu-Gi-Oh sustained its existence by having a big variety of archetypes. It is common sense to understand, that by choosing not to play the most broken deck, you won't be able to reach as high a winrate as the T1 deck.
But lower tiered decks should not drop into complete unplayability because of the sheer existence of T1 decks (note how I said tiered decks, not rogue, yes same could apply for rogue, but people playing rogue know that they are playing a rogue deck and have understood this principle).
Most of us try to have fun dueling in Master Duel, while the current oppressiveness of the T1 decks is actively contributing to having as little fun as possible.
Maybe player numbers are raising again currently, in the long term the strategy is going to self-defeat. Not even having to elaborate on Master Duel choosing no communication with its customers (us).
The October 27th TCG ban list is a glimpse of hope though.
