Hi!

I just wanted to try out Maliss post-ban list… before the ban list was effective. Got a neat 7 win streak with it! Here are some additions and cuts that I've done, though obviously this is not indicative of what Maliss deck lists will look like:

+TB-11: Because Red Ransom is forbidden, some lists opt'd to go for a previous card that was never exactly necessary before: TB-11. The card allows the deck to dig for more Maliss bodies due to Underground being very inconsistent to access. It does add another garnet/brick to the deck, but it could be handy when starting with it.

+Cynet Mining: Allure of Darkness is certainly intriguing as a consistency piece, but I opt'd for more precision, which is getting Dormouse or an extender directly. Yes, it plays into Droll and Lock Bird, but I think Maliss plays through it sufficiently enough. It is better to be Droll'd than Maxx “C”'d or Fuwalos'd, in my opinion.

± Hand-Traps: Maliss can still play close to twenty pieces of non-engine, unfortunately for the meta. I am still personally experimenting with non-engine lineups, as Impermanence was a last-second addition. I might consider replacing them with Bystials, Artifact Lancea, or Nibiru. Perhaps consider Triple Tactics Talents, Allure, and more.

± Extra Deck: Again, still experimenting with the deck. The extra deck is honestly very flexible, so do what you like! I still wanted a more Cyberse leaning style of the deck, since I am used to that, so Transcode was a must. Heatsoul was there for fun, but never came up like Ty-phon, but just a potential utility function. I:P, Lizardose, Dhark, Topologic, and more are all still great options.

—Maliss in the Mirror: Used to be the card for when Underground is opened already, but without Ransom, the odds of accessing this card is limited. I'll miss it since it was a strong alternative for Mulcharmy Fuwalos lines, though.

—Bystial Engine: My previous deck list utilized a heavy six Bystial names for additional extension/disruption. However, I wanted to focus more on the Cyberse combos, namely for Transcode Talker, which strictly cannot use the Bystial engine. I cut four due to this reason, but I'm sure I could add it back when Maliss deck lists post-ban list are well-defined.

Maliss is undeniably hurt from Ransom's ban, but I think it will at least be Tier 3: strong, but much more vulnerable to disruption, which is where it should have been.
