Quick background on my history and philosophy playing Musketeers:

I’ve played it since way before MD came out, and I got top rank with it every season in MD before Floo/Branded came out. Always build the deck to go second for 2 main reasons, Max and the fact that you don’t have reliable ways to get to your starters going first.

Now for this event:

The whole deck is basically just a anti-Labrynth deck, but Labyrnth is so strong that you still won’t beat them at a great clip despite teching the deck out to beat it (given that they play optimally).

If they open the hand-loop, there’s nothing you can do unless you have Imperm. If you get hand-looped for 2 before you can start playing, that’s most likely the game right there. Now let’s get to the scenarios where you don’t. The only real blowout card is Red Reboot because it shuts down their traps for the entire turn and has good synergy with Musketeers, Evenly and Lightning Storm aren’t gonna be as good as you think because they can still transfer their resources over to the GY. The two most problematic cards are Big Welcome’s 2nd effect, because it can deal with your normal summon as well as your Shadow Mirror & Decree, and Archfiend’s Gastly Glitch, because it allows them to set up another trap through Back Jack after they get board-wiped. So whether or not you can win after resolving Evenly / Lightning Storm is still very situational.

For replays, I included a game showing how you can OTK after resolving Red Reboot by going into Number 77 through D/D Xyz monsters. You can see how Red Reboot (and DRNM for that matter) has perfect synergy with Musketeers.
