Notes & Combos
I absolutely LOVE this deck, it's solid into nearly every single handtraps (you can make a pretty decent field under fuwa and, with certain hands, maxxC and shifter, surprisingly enough. Earlier on I had to go back to back vs Mitsu who shiftered me in both games, and in the last game where I went 2nd with a dead droll, they proceeded to handtrap me 4 times as well as summoned pachy, but here I am, in 16. Shifter def hurts this deck the most, but if you stall long enough with non-engine, you can have a fighting chance because chances are that shifter slightly cripples the opponent too),
has surprisingly good matchups against most meta decks (yes even tho you'd think that herald is an autowin against you and arthalion clears by bouncing back the Astero from the graveyard).
I'll let yall watch resources on youtube as for how this deck plays like, I wont go into the details myself (if you're fully lost and dont know what to look up on, some of the most interesting links that I would reocmmend checking to get an insight on this deck are:
This tho is, in my opinion, is a must know basic combo sequence
, but one thing I ought to say: don't quickly give up when you see the opponent puttin out a lot of bodies on the field and you're stuck with just 1-2 monsters, this deck's grindgame is AMAZING and, depending on the matchup (and of course, a bit of luck), you can still make some incredible comebacks.
Sadly K9 (ripper in specifically) gives this deck a harder time (you wont be able to cheese out victories as much), but you'll be 1 step ahead of izuna (when they can izuna at all, you usually have sanctuary to quick XYZ to out izuna, have skyburn to pop lupus, or high kirin resummons back a body while popping lupus/izuna), so I wouldnt be too gloomy about the matchup.
I've yapped enough tho, I'd say that's all my thoughts on this deck, so what are you waiting for? Go ahead and unleash your inner Dinh Kha Bui (shoutout to him for cookin this amazing brew)!
