Notes & Combos
I've been meaning to see how well a Dracotail engine would help the deck push through disruption and as a plan B of sorts in case of Maxx "C" and some hands that can't play decently through Fuwalos, and I was not disappointed.
Faimena is the MVP of the engine for the times she was able to help Regulus resolve through Veiler and the like.
Also, some hands are able to do the standard Magistus Fairy Tail combo plus a set Flame and Faimena in hand ready to make Gulamel during the opponent's turn.
The main downside to the Dracotail engine I noticed was that some hands cannot fully utilize a hard opened Faimena to fuse. But that's probably on me for not having a lot of experience playing Dracotail as a deck.
Another thing I did miss from time to time were a few cards I had to cut to fit the Dracotail stuff, notably main deck Rilliona, as well as the 2nd Chorozo and Xyz Rilliona in the Extra Deck. But on the flip side, there were some games I won precisely thanks to the Dracotail engine, so I think it evens out in the end.
While the engine didn't come up every time, it was very effective at what I wanted it to do, and I might revisit it again after adjusting some of the ratios to see if it can perform even better.
