People who know me, know that I say Elfnote is constant free wins when facing it, and now that I've played it myself, I can officially say that I was wrong. It's extremely free wins, this deck knows its place and even hates even itself it's awesome. Kewl Tune makes it less bad but it's still dogwater. Total waste of dust ong
This deck has anti-synergy with itself with Cue and KTS locking, needing to constantly free the center zone can be annoying when playing, and this deck has little to no ability to play through interaction. Its turn 1 board is good, but doesn't feel good enough either. I hope this deck becomes better post support.
It felt weird playing this without Dawn Dragster in hands where they were primarily Elfnote, but in most hands its absence didn't matter. I decided to play this now while KT is still viable, cause I think at least that Overtake ban kills the deck.
I'd also like to say that I got well into D1 on the first day of the season on Mitsu Ryzeal and then deranked all the way back down >:c
