Notes & Combos

Personally not a fan of Auroradon. There are so many cooler things you can do with the materials the deck gives you.

I labbed the ratios and tech on this deck for quite a while. I'm convinced that the reason Springans isn't popular is that no one has read Tally-Ho, that card feels amazing to resolve.

The release of Purrely honestly made the climb easier. Your pops get a lot of value in the matchup and Superfactorial is such a big swing in both advantage and momentum that resolving it often results in your opponent scooping on the spot.

Assuming you open either at least one of your 9 copies of Gold Golgonda + a Springans name or Kitt/Branded in High Spirits + any Springans name (including Kitt), you'll always end on both main and extra deck Sargas and usually Superfactorial, with some combination of Draco Berserker, Redoer, and UDF.

Tips:

  • Sometimes it's worthwhile to lead with the Kitt line, even if you open the field spell. People are unlikely to ash Kitt/Branded in High Spirits because up until you make Merrymaker, you're smokescreening as Branded Despia trying to bait Ash before activating Branded Fusion.
  • Any time you're left with 3 monsters (2 of which are level 4s), highly consider tributing your third monster with Alembertian (instead of itself) and making Granite with Circular + Diameter before overlaying the two of them for UDF.
  • This deck has trouble outing big unaffected monsters (4 material Arrival is effectively an FTK). HOWEVER, if the towers is 3000 ATK or less (Blackwing Full Armour Master for instance), remember that Exblowrer with Sargas attached is 3100 ATK, enough to beat over them.
  • Given the current popularity of Purrely (new toy syndrome I guess), if you can't keep them off Noir, you can severely punish them for holding it for too long with CL1 UDF CL2 droplet pitching a monster. This will force them to deal with however many materials Noir still has on the crackback.
  • Don't underestimate Scheiren as an extender. You'd be surprised how often you hit Branga or Brothers off of it, and even if you don't, it's a special summonable level 4 that has a big likelihood of giving you more names in rotation.
  • Lots of ash bait in the deck; Merrymaker, Watch, sometimes even Sargas.
  • Likely obvious, but there's a decent amount of garnets in this deck. Use Kitt to shuffle them back.
