Notes & Combos

This has been a really smooth season so far all things considered. Going first usually leads to a win against everything but Dragon Link and going second wasn't that bad thanks to the sheer amount of handtraps and the what is practically 4 kaijus thanks to small world along with just a ton of gas in most hands.

The main difference in the decklist itself is the removal of bystials since they aren't that good against the most common decks. Instead I opted for two fenrir since they give an extra disruption, a card to discard or use to get Maxx "C" via small world and an extra way to bait out Ash or Imperm/Veiler. That along with Transcode not being vital on turn 1 in this build means there's no real drawback for Fenrir most of the time. Nibiru isn't that major all things considered but it's nice to have as a cross-out target and as a smallworld bridge.

The kaiju change from Jizukiru to Thunder King doesn't matter in this build but it's important to note that if you run dotscaper then Thunder King is better thanks to them having the same defense.

To get to 40 cards you can remove any combination of imperm, Fenrir, Ghost Belle and Nibiru. Some other changes would be replacing the handtraps with Droll and Lock bird which is really good in this meta. Replacing the imperms with veilers would be ideal but for me personally the difference between the two isn't big enough to justify the ur points. Ghost Oger instead of Belle is an option to make the Purrely match-up better. I personally don't like Gamma but it's undeniably a really good handtrap.

For the extra deck I noticed that the second Splash didn't really come up so a change to link spider, Pit Knight Earli or a second Laplacian/Linguriboh might have been better. I:P is there as a way to have another option in case you get mugged by Maxx "C". Lastly Avramax and Final Sigma can be replaced with a second Accesscode or Teraherzt but I wanted to bring Avramax for one last hurrah and Final Sigma is the main reason I play the deck so no matter how unoptimal I personally won't remove it.
