Notes & Combos
🦋Introduction:
꒰(˶• ᴗ •˶)꒱: Hiya, fellow duelists! For those familiar with me, it might come off as a surprise that I didn't use Sky Striker for this Master V run (Don't worry! They are still here in this list! :D)! If not, hi! I decided to give Raye and Roze some mercy and use the machines to take the brunt of whatever hellish experience I had, because dear goodness... when people said the meta would be bad, I didn't think it'd be THIS BAD. This is actually the first month using the deck! Got some good practice because some 55 year old fiend mistress bully broke apart my toys with her own Sky Strikers :(
🦋 Decklist Choices/Experiences:
- Base: It wouldn't be an R.B. deck without the equipment to boost our big guys! The main deck robo buddies aren't exactly ideal for draws, but they can help extend and lessen the searching. The Lambda buddies are particularly bricky since they can't Special Summon themselves from hand (Odd design...). VALCan Booster and the Brute Blues are the heart and soul of the deck, with the Spells acting as powerful ways to summon bodies to our field! Pile Bunker is a dopamine boost!
- Weaknesses from my Experience: Droll and Lock Bird, Mulcharmies, Maxx "C" are the usual culprits. Since I'm not too experienced, I struggled going for efficient lines. Maxx "C" was ESPECIALLY a pest that wouldn't stop biting my behind.
- Sky Striker: A very small engine with the true Sky Striker Ace: Hornet Drones! Simple logic: two Machines = VALCan which should generally get you your lines.
- Schedule Engine: Extremely powerful synergy, basically like the Strikers but can increase the ceiling of the deck very far. Urgent Schedule can be a brick going first, so consider that.
- Common Matchups:
- Elfnote: I hate this deck with a passion. BS hand-rip omni-negate draw 8 cards throughout their turn 1 and your turn BS. You negate their engine? Then they pivot from Elfnote to Synchrons, Kewl Tunes, Branded, White Forest, and some other BS, or the other way around. Did I say BS enough?
- Branded Dracotail: Also faced this deck plenty of times. It's hand dependent, but if you can pull off Pile Bunker, I think you have a fair shot. OTK is your best way out of grind games.
- Clown Crew: You really hope they don't draw a bajillion hand-traps, haha. It's pretty interesting, though!
🦋Conclusion:
꒰(˶• ᴗ •˶)꒱: Overall, a frustrating but fresh experience for me! Running out of space to yap, so subscribe to Floowooly!
