Notes & Combos
I present the (imo) most consistent Rescue-Ace deck that I have every played.
Although calling this a Rescue-Ace deck is kind of a stretch but oh well ...
I hate playing droll but you need it this season.
Impulse wasn't useful a single time but it's still a name for emergency and has in theory potential to do well.
Poplar is a must since it generates a stupid amount of material.
FS bridges with Chorozo into both Mitsurugi and Rescue-Ace through Banshee and Poplar.
Same for Mitsurugi going into Banshee and Poplar.
Extra deck is sadly too tight for cards like Caesar, Hiita etc.
I tried to fit Millenium and a few other tech choices but hated the ratios so much that I didn't bother anymore, especially since Doom-Dragon also eats an extra deck slot.
Perfect endboard is 3-mat Apollo, Desirae, Galaxy-Eyes, Phoenix with Prom, Preventer and Hydrant, R-Ace backrow and Prayers/Purification. Didn't have enough material for Apollo normally tho.
A few pointers:
- Maxx C / Mulcharmy just end your turn
- Try to make a Galaxy-Eyes as soon as possible with the Mitsu cards, you most of the time don't have space in your backrow for Prayers or Purification anyway (I just have an irrational fear of Nibs)
- Get out a Desirae whenever possible, you have more than enough monster interactions and need the Spell/Trap negate
- I don't think I have to mention this but use Sequence as Link material before equipping it
- Prom floodgates yourself if you dont have a Phoenix in ED anymore (don't ask how I found out)
- Solo Hydrant in hand is a brick
- Any two bodies is full combo with FS bridging into anything
