Notes & Combos
Didn't want to climb with Lab at first, as I wanted to do everything with Orcust after the support arrives, but as I won't have as much time to play for a majority of the month I decided to do half with Lab.
Definitely wasn't all that easy a climb to M5
Maliss full combo is not beatable, meaning you have to draw one of your turn-enders (Maxx C, Fuwa, Chaos hunter or turn 0 lab plays). The maliss half boards, however are beatable, especially because chaos hunter sticks around and turns off the vast majority of their disruption (even linguriboh and the link 5 @ignister)
Ryzeal is very beatable, not only do you have several turn-enders (Maxx C, Fuwa, Gnomes + Furniture/Arias), but even the full ryzeal endboard is beatable given a good hand and good execution. My general rule there is to wait as long as possible, as ryzeal has very few ways to interact with face-down backrow, so you can often wait for their turn 3 battle phase until you start interacting and play into their detonator.
All in all, I am still pretty happy with Lab. No particularly bad match ups aside from maliss running impulse.
My W/L according to Untapped are 37 wins and 23 losses. With a winrate going first being 75,9%, the winrate going second being 48,4% and a total winrate of 61,7%.
