Notes & Combos
Still new to this deck, so i'm still learning.
Common decklist for Gishki Spright. Unsure if i want to use Nibiru, Talents, Thrust, Ghost Ogre or Fenrir as my last two cards. I would have probably ran Kurikura if i had the URs to craft it. Might even add Melfy package back into the deck.
Originally used Nekromirror instead of Photomirror, but i don't think you can tribute a 5+ mat Noir so i dropped Nekromirror.
Carrot just might be the most important spright card in the deck. Might even run a second copy. So many decks rely on spells/traps right now (purrely, mikanko, kashtira).
What i like about Gishki Spright
Grimness and Focused Aquamirror are additional cards that are ONE CARD Combo starters alongside Blue and Starter. Deck felt very consistent due to this.
Opening Focused Aquamirror is an easy Double Monster Negate! The gishki trap allows you to special summon our boss ritual monster for 1 turn.
Our ritual boss is a SOFT ONCE PER TURN!
If Maxx C'd, can potentially summon 1 monster negate with just 1 special summon (our gishki boss) and end our turn.
Lab players do not know if they should Dimension Barrier our XYZ or Ritual.
Some people surrender the moment they see my spright cards and i never lost to Mikanko.
What i Disliked
Grimness can ruin our OTK because it prevents us from attacking with non-ritual monsters.
Can't run both Nekromirror and Photomirror because they decided we should take 3k damage and 5k damage for using them.
Deck isn't that good at going second. Evenly and Imperms were very important.
Going second against Purrely isn't impossible without Kaijus, but it relies on the Purrely player being scared of activating Noir's effect. Got a few wins from the Purrely player realizing too late they had to bounce/spin my cards before i got our ritual boss on the field.
