Notes & Combos
After taking a 2-3 month break from the game because of Kewl Tune (thank God it's over), I've tweaked the deck quite a bit and made it as disgusting as you can imagine. This is the sloppiest slop deck that you will ever encounter and it is grossly consistent and very rarely bricks. Also: we don't play hand traps apart from 1 Maxx C, 3 Ash Blossom and 1 Nibiru. I've found when I include charmies here that I start bricking going first and usually the opponent just plays around them. I am also thinking of adding 3 magical curtains and a vanilla Dark Magician, but I'm waiting for the pulls (I don't want to craft them).
Now for the obvious elephant in the room: Subspace battle. I don't know why people see it as a meme card when it either adds me Nibiru or Lava Golem, depending on whether I go first or second, I get to scout the opponent's deck and I can also add Finmel (to make Impasto from hand), Dark Magician Girl (who doesn't have her effect negated when summoned) and Vidolium, who can summon a power patron from the graveyard because he can still be used as a pendulum spell.
The Artmage package now lets the deck set up a serious slop board even when drolled. Vidolia keeps enemies attacks at 0 because Snow keeps banishing cards from the graveyard and keeping them at zero. Then we have the most disgusting thing of all, Over Fusion to summon Azamina + Vidolia field spell which acts as a gigantic floodgate, making all enemy monsters unable to use their effects.
Super Poly is here because we can naturally break apart artmage boards to summon Nerva, Impasto or Diactorus. We can also use it to fusion summon Saint Azamina or Hyperinvoked Aeon, Mixousia or even Albion.
What is the goal of this deck?
If after all of the interruptions you can somehow get two level 4 monsters (hello, HERO engine) you win the game. You go Feral imps, full Mitsurugi combo, Zombie Vampire, fish an engine or two out of it and scout the enemy deck, make Sarjuya, fish for more engines and hand traps and make sure to return Branded Fusion if it is in your hand, set up a gigantic layered board with Albion as the final summon via Verte, while having Murakumo, Dragoon and Fairy Tail Snow in the Graveyard. The deck can consistently get to Impasto (which you use with snow later to fusion into Mixousia and then you summon Aeon for 2 banishes), Albion, Diactorus, Nerva, Dragoon, Futsu, Dark Law and sometimes Azamina if you had Over Fusion while your opponent controlled a monster on your turn.
