My final climb with Apollousa.

This list is a merge between Metakuzu's herald guu and my Kristya turbo from previous season. Initially I didn't like the idea of going -2 for a negate with herald and in fact sometimes they can be bricky, but I couldn't disagree with other players getting results with them and after finally trying, it's pretty fun and strong, sending nepyrim can enable strong plays that will make you feel like you're playing tear zero in 2025.

2 ash 2 droll because handtrap slots are tight in tear but we can play under droll completely fine and it does a much better job at stopping Ryzeal and Mitsu. If there's no out to C in hand Kristya can be a desperate play as the deck has many ways to summon it, I even managed to summon it by its own effect once which adds a herald from GY to hand.

With that out of the way, I would like to point out that I genuinely believe banning Apollousa will mostly hurt petdecks and not change the format for the better. There are many standard non-engine cards that out her efficiently and contrary to popular belief, the one tiered deck that is constantly making her will still be able to extend past nibiru and other handtraps. In fact I streamed the entire climb and saw her in my opponent board like... 3 times? While most of the times I made her she got instantly shutdown by ext (a fricking starter).

Despite being unhappy to see her gone, I'm also excited to see how all the decks that crutched on her will adapt. Thank you Apollousa for all you've done carrying my piles.
