Notes & Combos

Pretty standard Traptrix list. Deck is very fun in the current meta, but only if you're going first as is the case with most decks and certainly so for a trap deck. Two trap holes, which is the minimum off of the 2-card combo (Sera set + Rafflesia), is usually enough to stop most decks, but non-engine certainly help.

Droll is really good right now. I would run 3 if I had room. It stops Mathmech, Purrely, and even Kash if they don't play around it. Traptrix can also play under Droll as you basically don't need to search after NS, so it's another answer to Maxx C.

Bottomless was supposed to be the out to Lab and NS Albaz. Unfortunately, it misses timing way too much due to Big Welcome and the field spell, and I barely saw any Branded. I would probably replace it with a second Floodgate.

Brigandine vs Parallel. I like Brigandine when running handtraps and Parallel when I'm running Evenly. Brigandine has the lower cap than Parallel, but it's more consistent with Holeutea.

Redoer is the MVP non-archetype boss monster with how easy you can get Brigandine and Holeutea under him. That said, I usually prioritize Rafflesia if I can only make one Xyz as she lets me access my second trap hole and plays around Nib which happened more than once. I only made Allomerus to troll, so she can probably be dropped for a second Atypus or Rafflesia.

The deck isn't super strong, but it has a hilariously high win-rate against Kash which is surprisingly still a large chunk of the ladder, so you farm wins that way even going second. The deck plays perfectly fine under Shifter. Exciton and Zeus are both ways you can break a Kash board as you do not need to activate monster effects to make a Rank-4 Xyz between NS, Brigandine, Holeutea, and Garden.
