Notes & Combos

I was the only person cooking FS Reso in the RDA and MD discords for a few months now and (after a lot of experimentation with Elequinn) I'm glad to see it actually plays out as well as I expected. My original build kept Centur-Ion in the mix but the ED space was wayyy too tight. I'm convinced FS + Reso + Cent + Millennium would be the ideal build if the ED size was 20 lol

Anywho, this list plays a small, control-y Reso package. You can access it through Fiendsmith (and by proxy millennium) by milling Bone Archfiend with Aerial Eater. The purpose is just to make Abyss + Dis Pater on top of your Fiendsmith endboard of choice (typically S:P, but you can make Caesar, just make sure you can banish something like Paradise to make Dis Pater live). It also OTKs very easily after getting interruption out with FS and Millennium cards. A little over 40 to hide bricks.

Fiendish Golem isn't too great in this meta. There aren't relevant starters with over 2k attack that you'd banish. However, it's the best 2nd add for Vision/Gaia in this build. Maybe you run a second gaia, maybe you don't run anything.

Millennium is so strong going first and going second. It's good hand trap bait and Doomed Dragon is too threatening not to respond to. Photon Lord is optional but comes up a lot when you also open FS starters.

You don't HAVE to run Necroquip to get into Caesar but I like the option to have a good end board when I have awkward hands with Lurrie or Lacrima. It also makes Lurrie and Lacrima confidently better normal summons than Soul Reso if you're forced to choose between going Reso line or NS Lacrima/Lurrie. It's also an option for FS line if you already have a reso starter in hand (Bone Archfiend).

I like Paradise in this build. It adds interruption in awkward situations like NS lurrie or lacrima but also if Sequence gets negated.

Savage doesn't come up too much. You can definitely make it if you are forced to get rid of Synkron in your hand with Mill engine (so you keep your hand traps/gas). You can also make it on the follow up with Reso cards. If you want to use Savage more, I'd suggest running Spright Elf instead of S:P or Necroquip or Paradise/Desirae. Makes any Millennium monster into Borreload Savage + Spright Elf targeting protection + Abyss + Dis Pater. This is also how the whole RDA/Cent/FS/Millennium build worked, after I discovered you can make Primus after milling Vision with AE by making Elf and using a leftover Lv 6 like Engraver/Golem/Eater.
