Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

I was looking for any "Herald" list, and i didnt found any, so i went to the discord, and we dont even have a channel for it. So....welcome, people, take a seat, and enjoy the beautifull ride in Herald territory !

The List

Main starter is of course Diviner, send Trias or Arclight and get the engine going. Yes, this is a HERALD list, and we dont play the Herald HT (we play the starter and the boss monster tho), because they are....bad for the deck. Lvl 2, need a discard, maybe better on other decks but not here. So we needed another engine to add...and there is VV, with light fairy monsters. Plan is to get the VV engine going, to get 2 Lo on hand and 1 on the field + Skull Guardian, making it 2 discard for Perfection + 1 omni (pretty good).

HT lineup and ED

2 Maxx C, 3 Ash (the usual), 3 Ogre for Blue eyes or Azamina, 2 imperm 2 purge to not brick too much on them AND 2 bystials for FS and BE (Magna can add Saffira for follow up). ED wise, N'tss to clear board, Accesscode to kill, and the MVP BLS (link 3), a tower that can do a LOT if u make it with SG.

Gameplan

Plan is to use Pre-prep and Arclight to get the Herald going, and backing it with Voiceless. So :

  • Plan A : bait HT with VV, get the Herald stuff, and make your field.
  • Plan B (aka no Herald access) : Just play VV...i mean sad but true.

Tips

As no one played this before, here are some free tips :

  • The Herald ritual spell can return the tribute to hand, meaning u can loop the benten/diviner to the hand for another usage (or Herald munition).
  • To pair it, Saffira (the ritual) can be made with said benten for a SECOND search (not OPT).
  • Saffira (the ritual) is here to recycle the card we send with Herald of P (in the End Phase), or fix hand OR reap 1 from the OP hand (cause why not). Its a very crucial piece of the deck, and you want it on the field asap (so when u do the VV combo, instead of Sauravis + SG u go for Saffira + SG).
  • Saffira VV (the monster) can send the Herald Spell if u already have the VV one in hand, and can be send to the GY without target in the Deck to proc Saffira (the ritual) effect (it trigger when ANY light is send from hand).

My recent replays are for Argostar, will add some for this Herald deck when i get interesting one, cause ngl its a lot of Voiceless gaming due to people Ashing Pre-prep.
