Notes & Combos
This deck is hilarious and surprisinly strong when it gets to play. With synchros like Baronne de Fleur and Borreload Savage Dragon still legal, this deck can create an absurdly strong opening board
Key Points:
- Legendary Six Samurai-Kizan(lvl 4) and Grandmaster of the Six Samurai(lvl 5) may each be inherently special summoned from hand while you control any other Six Samurai name. There is no limit to the number of times you can special summon either of these, but you may only control 1 Grandmaster, hence the singular copy. Special summoning these 2 cards as many times as possible to build a board while simultaneously creating Bushido Counters to further extend is the basis of the deck
- Both of the new tuners, Tactical Trainer of the Six Samurai(lvl 2) and Anarchist Monk of the Six Samurai(lvl 3) have powerful adding effects to retrieve in-archetype quick play spells to further extend and can special summon themselves from hand once per turn while you control another Six Samurai. Cheating out their summons to create more synchro monsters to furhter insulate is what drives the deck's power
- Establishing an early Legendary Lord Six Samurai - Shi En insulates your plays from monster hand traps. This should be the first priority to protect from Droll and enable your Isolde lines
- Isolde has access to lvl 1, 2 & 3 Tuners, and lvl 3 non-Tuners. Summoning Monk or Trainer will net you a spell when they go to the GY. Equips are half cards
- Phoenix Gearblade: When dumped from Isolde effect, you can add it back to hand to use it later, act as a blank to send back to deck with Skull Dread's effect later, or discard for Shogun if Isolde add is denied
- Snatch Steal: Actually pretty ok going 2nd
- Fleuret de Fleur: A way to special summon Trainer or Fuma from GY. Once per turn, when it goes to the GY, you can re-equip it to a new synchro monster target to give it a 700atk boost
- Be mindful of Shogun zones
- Hatsume and Fuma offer protection in GY
- Asceticism Targets
- 200: Fuma(1)/Trainer(2)/Kageki(3)
- 500: Monk(3)/Spirit(3)
- 2100: Kizan self-boosted(4) or Hatsume boosted by Gateway(3)/Grandmaster(5)
- Cunning can be used to "reset" a Shi En or Lord Shi En
- You choose 1st, 2nd or both effects of Double Assault at resolution, not on activation
- Monk as synchro material changes opponent's levels
- Multiple ways to boost atk in-archetype
- You can deck out your opponent if they Maxx C or Charmy
- Double Click counters to save time
