With four bridges - M-X, Broadbull, Imp, and Saryuja - the engines combo very nicely together. Saryuja is the usual bridge into Mitsurugi from Ratpier, since it lets you construct a really good hand in addition to gambling for any Mitsurugi card, while not playing into Droll. Broadbull into Typhoon is the bridge out of it, which circumvents the normal summon conflict Mitsurugi and Zoodiac usually suffer from.
Going second is a bit awkward. The deck can attempt multiple pushes under the right circumstances, but they are tricky to sequence. But there is a way often enough.
