Notes & Combos
Pretty simple list with most of the engine.
Dimensional fissure is a great card in the current meta.
Going first it can be used instantly to protect you from Maxx "C" (opponent can still chain it)and Droll and on top of that it weakens powerful tiered decks like KIller Tune and Branded (and others to an extent).
Going second it can still be useful for the aforementioned reasons + it can stop Mirrorjade from using his banish effect (that's probably their strongest disruption against the deck) and at worst it becomes an excellent negate bait.
Maxx "C" is our savior if we lose the coin flip but it's still good going first.
We can't draw into Handtraps but just the idea of its effect working will instill fear in our opponent, that will try to stop it, giving us a chance to respond with our effects.
Ra Sphere and Sol and Luna are some nice alternative techs.
Ra is great if you really can't manage to go first (bad days exist) or if you are tired of seeing Elfnote and 60c piles ending their turn with a full field.
It does have some drawbacks tho.
- It becomes a brick going first (that can hurt your consistency)
- You are exposed to Droll, Maxx "C" and friends (or you can play both difi and ra but it could get slightly brickier)
- It's a UR (get ready to spend 90 cp if you don't have it already)
Sol and Luna is nice and it can help achieve a more aggressive gameplay (you can also chain it to MST to prevent the trap negation in the Radiant Typhoon matchups) but it's not as impactful as the 2 options above.
You can still try it tho, no one died for going above 40.
Another fun tech that works with Sol and Luna is Deus X-Krawler.
I'll be brutally honest: It's fun, it's a 3k Def BODY, it's a one-sided skill drain and it searches a big Ennea if outed BUT the fact that the only way to flip it is by hoping your opponent targets it or with SoL means it will hardly work and could end up as a brick.
But again, it's very funny, so use it at your own risk.
Extra Deck is mostly GY fodder in case you go against Dogmatika or other millers. You can add better and more expensive stuff if you have it OR play 0 Extra Deck to prevent KT Clip from chain blocking stuff. (Machinex is to remove DDD Vice King but it's kind of bad, flipping it down with SoL will work better)
If you have doubts on how to pilot the deck check the guide made by Kanna Ogata. Simple, straightforward and explains the ins and outs of the deck.
