Notes & Combos

• Board Break or Bust!
• Branded was the first deck that got me to M1 in Late 2024, so I decided to hop on "Master Duel" and check out the new Branded cards that finally made it to the game. Long story short, the hype is real!
• I am rusty with the (old & still learning the new) combo lines for Branded, but I surprised myself in making it to at least M5 roughly in a week, which is faster than normal for me. Mainly used my September 2024/October 2024 Branded M1 decks as references when I slotted in the new Branded cards. Personally speaking, I think what helped me a lot was the surprise factor as 60c Branded appeared to be no longer the norm based on what I am reading.
• Every card in the Main Deck & Extra Deck was used during my climb, some clearly more than others though. This deck has not been optimized at all, but more tailored to what I saw during my climb. The goal/theme of the deck is to have as many cards as possible to be searchable/summonable by a different card. This way the deck operates like a "toolbox" as you enter the grind game or even break a board.
• Ultimately, I am aware 40c is the "new model" moving forward, yet 60c still can be a threat, just not Tier 1 though.
• Highly suggest everyone play the "new standard" 40c Branded before playing 60c Branded even for fun. Understanding the fundamental "core combo lines" will help you understand when to pivot when going 60c. Be warned, the consistency is lowered with the 60c version, so expect to brick a little more often.
