Yay, it's more indirect VS support! Fydraulis is a decent buff to the pure VS version, as, while it still utilises the extra deck, it can play comfortably without non-synchro extra deck monsters.

Pegasus and Malong are the best to use, while discarding for Packbit is rarely worth the cost of losing a card from hand unless it is Fuwa or a spell. Lycoris is interesting as we can trigger its effect with Snow Devil and Borger, but it is harder to use as it requires setup.

Time thief is for making Zeus for board clear as well as potential draws/interuption. Self-banish can be useful if you have Snow Devil on board.

Juraishin is kinda mid, as you are rarely able to use Fydraulis on your first turn, and if I were to replace any part of the extra deck it would be this monster.

I play more than 5 synchros in case I draw more Fydraulis off of Borger or if I banish some Synchros off of Pot of Extrav.

One important thing to note is this deck’s matchup against Branded, which was 90% of my games.

If you go first, you can use Hollie Sue’s effect as soon as Fallen of the White Dragon summons Ecclesia, as they will not be able to activate the effect of whatever they summon, as anything summoned off of White Dragon will not have higher ATK than WD. This will not work if you chain to Ecclesia.

Vanquish Soul Mad Love’s effect to return a monster to the hand with the least attack is relevant for when they try to fusion off your monsters with Albaz, as its DEF is 0 so it will always be returned to the hand before the effect can resolve.

There are 3 ways to -First, if you have not locked yourself into synchros, you use Dhark to summon Accesscode, while keeping extenders like Hollie Sue in hand or on the field.

-If you have locked yourself into Synchros with Fydraulis, then you will use  Fydraulis and a level 4 (Mad Love, Razen, Fuwa, Retaliating) to make Psychic End Punisher, which can out their monster.

-Third is to hard draw Dogoran. This option is very efficient as it can easily be returned to your hand after use with Mad Love but is unsearchable in this deck.

Retaliating C is very good in this meta, and I think it should be played at more than 1, but I lack the deck space. I would replace the Bystials, but I want to keep the Dark/Fire ratio even, and Bystials have gotten better in this meta as they can be good against Branded. Also, Magnamut can search Fydraulis in addition to Druisworm and Caesar.
