Notes & Combos

This is my latest rendition of Assault Mode Synchro (That was made right before Freki released, just my luck!)

The deck is focused around the synergy between AM and Runick (Hugin being a level 2 for Marcher abuse, AM providing a free discard for Hugin in Activate) to make boards and using the versatile bodies to enable a toolbox of synchros afterwards.

The combos from my previous D1 Runick AM combo still work here (From Jan 6th). Mudragon + Mirrorjade stuff are funny but there are better ways to use your Extra Deck slots.

Basic Combo

Psi + 2 Runicks

1. Summon Psi, search Assault Beast, which then searches Activate
2. Use Psi's effect to revive Beast as a level 7
3. Summon Hugin, discarding Activate to search Fountain*
4. Use Psi Reflector and Hugin for Marcher, which then revives Psi Reflector**
5. Use Psi Reflector and Assault Beast for Chaos Ruler and then mill 5
6. Use the 2nd Runick spell to summon Munin
7. Use Munin and Marcher for Muddy Mudragon
8. Use Muddy Mudragon to fusion summon MJ using Cruler and itself

This combo may end on just an MJ but it does a bit more than that. It allows you to dig 8 cards deep into your deck for an extender, which can increase the ceiling of your board considerably.

*If Psi gets negated you can make Marcher to clear your EMZ, revive Psi then make Arc Light with Munin and Psi.

** If Psi gets Bystialed here you can make Chengying with Marcher and Beast on board

8. Same as before
9. Activate Lub's effect, searching Saronir
10. Saronir banish Munin to summon itself
11. Lub tribute Saronir to summon itself, Saronir send Branded Regained
12. Lub set Branded Beast from Deck
13. Revive CRuler by banishing Hugin and Psi
14. Overlay for Hope Harb
15. Beast activate Regained in the EP

From Assault Synchron:

8. Summon Assault Synchron
9. Make Chengying w CRuler
10. Cruler revive itself
11. Mudragon Fusion summon into Mirrorjade using Cruler
12. Assault Synchron in GY to summon Cruler

Both Lub and Synchron:

8. Summon Assault Synchron
9. Make Chengying w CRuler
10. Cruler revive itself
11. Mudragon Fusion into MJ using Cruler
12. Synchron in GY to summon Cruler
13. Lub search Saronir
14. Saronir banish Mudragon to summon
15. Lub summon itself, Saronir send Regained
16. Activate Beast off Lub
17. Overlay Lub and Cruler for Hope
18. Beast activate Regained in the EP
