Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

Ughgghghhhhh……. Hello everyone. Happy New Year. This meta, believe it or not, wasn’t as bad as last month. Mitsu is a total disaster and I was praying not to see it, and Yummy isn’t much better. But dtail duels are fun. (I think dtail is one of my favorite new decks to come out. If you haven’t played it yet, you should).

Anyway, I was trying to build the list around songs of the dominator, and that left me with a problem. Most extenders and handtraps don’t work under songs’ lock. The ones that DO work are mekk knights (crept), kashtira (inconsistent), raika (maxx c), and ryzeal (locks to rank 4). However, there are some level 4 monsters that qualify. Dynatherium, Hat Tricker, and the Elemental Spirits like the rock spirit. However, dyna and rock spirit have some downsides that make them unappealing. Hat Tricker though was kind of awesome nearly every time I saw it. You might notice that I ultimately dropped songs a couple days ago. The lock was just too cumbersome, which probably means I can go back to standard extenders like parallel exceed or sakitama, but I don’t know.

As for the rest of the list: The good? Purge is great against dtail and sometimes against yummy. Belle was okay. I always wanted to cut it but it kept on winning me games when I saw it. Retaliating C is a recent addition. I never got to use it besides NS against Floo. Nib was great. Chain hole was surprisingly excellent. Soul Drain…I added this 3 duels before my rank up to M5. I wanted to play trix without floodgates (except shifter), but probably floodgates like dimensional fissure and soul drain make sense. Fuwalos…I tried Fuwalos a LOT. But it was soooo bricky. And it made me do horrible plays like pass when going first just because I wanted my fuwa to resolve. I know charmies are the future, but they’re just so awful in trix. As for the ED, asophiel I added halfway through due to Fear’s suggestion. She was awesome. I never summoned Armor Horn.
