So what's required, what’s different about my deck, and what am I wanting to change moving forward?
Required: 3 Droll, 3 Maxx “C”, 3 Ash, 2 Called By, and 1 Crossout. If you’re going to survive this meta you have to have disruption and ways around your opponent’s disruption. Part of the reason I play 1 Nib is so that Crossout has another target.
What’s different: I’m playing 3 Visas. It feels kinda excessive, but I love drawing it. I’m also playing Tear Planet as another way to get to Visas if it’s needed (so I play 9 copies of Visas). I took out the Bystials to make room for Droll.
What do I want to change: I wouldn’t mind cutting Unicorn in the ED for Stardust Dragon and Nib protection. I still really like the Dis Pater line. If I cut the third Visas I’ll probably explore throwing in another handtrap.
In Summary: I kinda suck with this deck and that’s okay. The deck has loads of gas and variety and it’s a blast to play. Combo decks are frustrating to play and frustrating to play against, but if you take time and work on it you can learn a lot about the game in ways that will help you in the future. I played Spyral and Endymion when the game came out and learning those decks (especially Endymion) helped me a ton.
