Smoothest Master V climb I've had with super quants in awhile. K9 is super synergistic with red layer and not only can act as a bridge but can also help supply materials for magnus if you need extra push. Generally I played for K9 combos if I opened with in hand. Otherwise you play super quant lines otherwise. There are a few SQ lines that can bridge to K9 that I found from playtesting, but I'm not sure if there's anymore:

• SS Red layer->blue layer (NS or etele)->search zetan->ss alphan->use alphan first effect to convert red and blue into level 5s->SS Ripper. This line grants nib protection and access to the izuna+lupis line if you don't open any k9 cards.
• Etele->SS Blue->search and ss zetan->discard white layer instead of alphan spike and ss red->activate white graveyard effect to search alphan->NS alphan->activated alphan eff 1 to convert red and blue into level 5s->SS Ripper. To access magnus with this line, you'll need to open with the field spell in hand

Deck is super strong going first if you get into Magnus+Ripper+Vallon (Ideal endboard with set forced release and lupis in grave). Somewhat struggles second, which I find evenly matched a good tech during the climb. You can run a third red layer to increase opportunities for K9 lines via jokul but I chose not to for consistency.
