Notes & Combos
This was my first ever time trying to climb to master before this I had only ever used the account for maso and had not played in a while but with the release of the K9 cards I decided to hop back in. I made the climb in around 5 days of playing all the way from rookie which feels pretty fast. This is just my TCG deck but with 2 small changes I just threw in a maxx c that's why its 41 cards and Ive taken out the quinquery for a K9-X Ripper/M. Quinquery super rarely comes up with the second K9 rank up in my opinion being more important and giving more versatility with the engine so once released that change should be made to this current build. I have never seen a combo guide or talked to someone else on how to play the deck and have self learned all the combos but I am still having fun with it. Ill continue to grind up to Master 1 as the season goes on but wanted to share it now for everone.
Overall I played this deck as a much more super quant focused deck. Some others will bridge into the K9 deck more readily but I really focus more on getting magnus out. Into quite a few matchups hes a legitimate FTK there just is not a lot of outs right now for a 3600 bungus just do not activate cards in hand or deck on your opponents turn as that will potentially give them an out with Werewolf. You do not have to try and force out wins Magnus is hard to out and can be just sat on until you have lethal trying to do too much can lead to a situation where you give your opponent an out to your magnus. The K9 engine is a backup plan or if it's able to be an insulator against handtraps like droll (which with ship in hand you can usually full combo through) or Nib. If you have a way to get to ripper and a way to special a quant in hand either being zetan, etele, or layer 19 thats guaranteed full combo + magnus.
The deck probably could use some tweaks it is built for the TCG and a side deck and in a best of one format could probably use some changes but Im stubborn and stuck to it. Feel free to ask questions overall, I love this deck and hand played super quants for years and it feels great that the deck feels truly competitive again.
