Notes & Combos
Ah shoot... How do I explain this...?! Well at least playing felt kinda good weirdly enough ^^'
First of all, DO NOT play cattle call if you're not on point with your deck knowledge, not just knowing combos, you need to deeply know the deck for that card to be playable let alone viable.
So, that being said, what the **** did I rock up with this season? Well the usual suspects here's the notable things:
- Double vanishing is proving itself more and more, I don't think I've lost more than 1 game due to hard bricking during my run from plat to master which is really good for RR.
- Droll, ash and called by are now my only non engine, breakers are not focused enough for me to run them. Dark ruler is cool against VS K9 and yummy but useless into dracotail and mitsu and not an auto win against those 2 decks anyway, evenly only works against dracotail and VS K9 but then again if they play well they will have an army in hand and it doesn't solve the yummy and mitsu problem. red reboot is only usefull against dracotail and sometimes mitsu and finally droplet is still too expensive. So I chose droll as it kills mitsu and VS K9, annoys yummy and is my 5th and 6th answers to maxx C, fuwa and co
- Stranger is cool, I got to use him in several cases and seems slightly more effective than the second satellite option. I also found myself wanting Final fortress back sometimes due to the next card we're about to discuss
- Cattle call... Well that's a turn around alright... With the meta evolving into a removal focused meta and not containing that many S/T negates, cattle call kind slaps in the face of stuff like holy sue, murakumo etc... Actually any card that targets or destroy is prime target material for cattle call send a bird and get Air raid onfield to get it poped and get a revolution falcon with a dark xyz as material. But still remember it's a minus 1 so it's particularly bad into any kind of negates and never works alone. Also why not Cowrie or nest if I want to dodge at all costs? nest doesn't work on extra deck monsters making it much more narrow in uses while cowrie is more of a bloom searcher than a dodge tool, unfortunately bloom stocks aren't high enough to make me like it more than cattle call, it's in general better but not here.
