Notes & Combos
Although VS is my favorite deck of all time, playing with the K9 engine made it feel not VS anymore and I have played pure VS as well but back to the DM train for some fun! DM is so fun this season, especially after this new wave of support, we can definetly just win outright if we combo without interruptions. Can set up to 3 omni negates easily and at times 4 to 5 negates as well; with solid hand traps like Imperm, Veiler, and Dominus Impulse, you cant be beat. Going second this deck packs a punch as well. I have decided not to play primite with this deck build since you kinda of have to play 2 DM vanillas and instead of adding that brick, I have decided to add one Archfiend's advent which is not that bad, this deck only has one card that normal summons, rod so having a second card to normal summon which is also searchable, is a board breaker, and boosts attack for finishing games either 3rd turn or second turn is phenominal. With Shining sarc effect, you can normal summon AA without any sacrifice and we have 9 ways of getting to shining sarc in a 50 card deck (3 shining sarc themselves, 3 DMG, and 3 future silence to search DMG. 50 card deck is optimal IMO, gives u enough room to play multiple engines and enough hand traps for going second. 30 engine cards in this one and 20 hand traps. I choose Diabellstar and DMG engines for this build. Found it to be pretty consistent. Wish I had more space in the Extra deck, definetly missing one typhon which could have saved a game or two for me so far. Dark Paladin is a spicy teck, if you go full combo uninterupted using both Diabellstar and DMG combos, you should have 4 omni negates on field with 4-5 cards in hand and one Gaze face down which you can use to either summon a second dragoon or can summon Dark Paladin which usually beefy at 3400 ATK atleast and sometimes even 3900 if you have Red Eyes in GY. and spell negate from Dark Paladin is not once per turn, if you smell sky striker, summon Paladin and game is yours. Also works well against spell heavy decks like white forest, tenpai, gem knights, Lunalight, and even Mitsu Yummy.
