Notes & Combos

Easy grind to Master this season. pretty basic decklist but still, extremely good in a single game format.

quick notes:

do keep subversion for go second. you can replace it with kashtira if you want to, as well as some bystials. Arguably, they were extremely usefull to: DD crow enemy's GY, and use their second effect ( druiswurm would be way better for this role, as baldrake need another dark/light special summoned monster to banish a special summon from the opponent. )

if you win the coinflip you pretty much won the game. that's how it is. there aren't many hands possible with too much bricks, apart from getting oak AND poplar ( which would honestly be a bummer ) or no monster targets for deception, which did happened to me once or twice during my grind ( d5 -> m5 in a single day )

i can't you guys some combos/ replays as youtube combos are far better to explain the lines you can follow and honestly I don't think I can do better than that.

Can't really advertise them but the aleister pfp channel is fire :) and adapted for new folks or simply to get the basic things about a deck.

NB: cards that are the least used are:

  • subversion
  • one for one : it's always useful as it is a starter on a technicality but do keep in mind that you have to cost A MONSTER
  • Caesar : way too useful but right now with no main deck lacrima it's hard to do it unless you have an extra engraver in hand / lurrie
  • Beatrice : that might be just me but i'm used to her being banned in tcg. Effect is too broken. helps if you need a card in the GY ( for example: missing a target for OSS to resolve --> bridge to get ash, but if you don't have a diabbell / equivalent you are stuck :/ )
  • hiita: as much as I would love to resolve it's effect, going first and getting interupted by nothing else than imperms, veiler, maxx C and it's fellows, it does help to get a 4 mats appolousa. might change it to a dharc in the future. we'll see.
