Notes about the Climb

Got M5 shortly before maintenance happened. Climbing in general went very smoothly using this list but switched between Exo sister and this deck list closer to the end because of deck fatigue. Most of the matches were SHS, Mannadium and Branded. Ironically only every deck currently only has 1 out to Hu-Li right now so Hu-Li has helped a lot in the grind games.

Why Mikanko?

The Mikanko line accomplishes three main roles in this deck, stealing your opponents cards to fuse them off with Cartesa and forcing your opponent to go very out of their way to out a single Hu-Li and going full combo you can use Arabesque to bounce Lubellion back to hand after going the Branded Fusion line into Albion>Mirrorjade. The package is also very searchable off of Nadir servant however this package does die harder to Droll so keep that in mind.

Card Choices/Tech

Standard Stuff the Mikanko package is mainly just as small as possible you only really want ⅖ of the Mikanko cards in your opening hand going second both Mikanko cards are guaranteed to burn negates though.

Archlord Kristya is there Mainly because it does better against Lab then Nightmare Puppet and Mainly because I like the card.

Only one Ash and Droll because they don’t do enough right now Ash will not stop anything anymore and it only exists in the deck as a Crossout target. The same kinda goes for Droll and I prefer to play more interaction then just pseudo floodgate pass.

One Nib for the same reasons as above most SHS players will either be able to bait it out before it is impactful or some decks can just walk though it and laugh.

Extra Deck

Most standard Branded extra deck ever only change is one Helard for the Ohime search.

Climb so far was just fine, not the most fun but that's what a hand trap meta gets you when the power ceiling is so high with the top three decks in the meta being able to put up a board that at most times will match the amount of cards you have in hand with interaction. Hopefully Mikanko Infernoble will be promising or Mikanko itself gets more going first support.
