Notes & Combos

Another month where I haven't been too into grinding/playing a ton, hence the late rank-ups. It also doesn't help that we're in a handtrap format it seems.

Ended up removing Kurikara, 1 Holeutea, 1 Nightmare, and IDP for 2 Shifter, 1 Planet, and 1 Nib. I wanted to give myself more handtraps that might let me play if I went second. (so from 2 powerful handtraps [the drolls] to 5) Maybe I'll add another Nib later on depending on what I see.

Regarding Planet, I saw that zeroender was running it in their M1 list, so I figured I'd give it a shot. It sucks when you open both it and Fenrir (no different than opening Garden + Pudica), but otherwise, it's a nice way to have "3" Fenrir in your deck to help you go second by having an extra interaction. Plus, the attack/defense boost is good as well.

As for match-ups, I don't think we really have any great ones right now. We have to deal with what we had last season.. and now Branded again, which has always been a horrible match-up with how the deck runs. Heck, in one game, my opponent had an empty field/no hand and I just had Pingu with 1 mat out. (they negated her with Veiler that turn) I passed and after drawing Quem.. my opponent just went off.. and ended with at least 5-6 cards in play/hand.
