Notes & Combos
I just recently crafted & learnt elfnote cards, still not that deep into it. I wrote this note just as casual Allure Queen enthusiast.
AQ can bridge to Elfnote with help of DMoD and Chorozo. Souls send an Elfnote starter or missing name to GY and then SS it with Strelitzia made with AQ LV3 and Chorozo. Mandatory main deck AQ monster names are 1x ChaosAQ, 1x LV7, 1x LV3. There is combo(s) that possible or more easy to do if you bring another AQ monster, at cost of more bricky deck.
The quality gap between Allure Dance and other AQ cards are so big. It feels like you get 3 more great Elfnote starters (3x Dances) with cost of adding min. 4 unreliable cards (Palace, CAQ, LV3, LV7). Having more copy of Palace to mitigate the bricks are not feeling right too, since Palace need + 2 cards in hand to do combo that die by various HT on CAQ or removal on Palace.
Some examples of AQ starters and endboards:
- Dance + 1c = Caesar, Baronne, Herald, Strelitzia, Fortuna, Elf Trap, Regina in hand, & 2 draws
- Dance + 2c = same as number 1 but more safe (Caesar before Dance SS eff)
- Palace + 2c = Baronne, Herald, Strelitzia, Elf Trap, Regina in hand, & 1 draw (need 4th AQ main deck monster to do without NS, without 4th AQ still need NS like no. 4)
- ChaosAQ + 1 light/dark + 1 NS any <= 1000 atk to Almiraj (if spellcaster no need Almiraj) = Baronne, Herald, Strelitzia, Elf Trap, Regina in hand, & 1 draw (only possible during the turn Spell card or effect is activated [DMOD])
Dance IMO is more valueable than elfnote starters. If you ald have Lucina and Dance in hand for example, just go for Lucina first.
Outside bridging to elfnote, AQ can make Black Rose Dragon, Chaos Angel, or do FS. You can make Herald too with LV3 and summon Veiler from deck with Palace additional eff. There is synergy of Strelitzia's reduce level eff with AQ LV3's equip effect, if that ever happen.
