Notes & Combos

Wasn't expecting to actually reach Master V so easily with this deck, had a pretty smooth climb from Diamond III to Master V using what could be considered a sliiiiightly budget version of the usual Centur-Ion package, and even went on an 8 win streak to Master V from Diamond II.

I really like the ratios on this deck, and feel I rarely brick with it. Because of the streamlined selection of handtraps, the amount of starters for either Resonators or Centur-Ion and the exclusion of cards like Flame Crime, Red Reign and Fiendish Golem, a "bricked hand" would mostly be handtraps, or Resonator's extenders/ tuners which you can work with most of the time. So quite often, you open into a pretty robust starting hand.

All in all, this quickly became one of my favorite decks. Sadly, I wasn't expecting to actually make it this far and didn't collect all the replays I should've. But rest assured, next time I post here I'll save some fun duels to show for you guys.

And for why Sifr is there, it's a pretty passable alternative to running Blazar. Since I was planning on rolling on the pack it's featured in, I opted not to craft Blazar. Sifr insulates your hand from destruction effects and can actively help break your opponent's board on their own turn since its negate is bundled with a non-target destruction, but be wary that if you negate into an empty field, you'll have to destroy one of your own cards.

S:P Little Knight came into play very rarely since you get Dark Synchro locked by using Resonators, but can help with stall matches and gets you out of pretty awkward situations where you're under certain restrictions or can't commit or perform a proper combo. I run it instead of something like Pixie Dragon because I refuse to craft that too :P

Evenly Matched is a godsend this meta.
