Notes & Combos

For the record, I hate that we get new cards in the middle of the season. My tech choices had to shift post-kash, so there's a bit of variance in my replays, but the core is the same.

Since I tried monster-heavy last month, I wanted to try trap-heavy this month. It has its advantages.

It can play under maxx c. Dbarrier is a busted card. Judgment, if you go first, is a game winner. Strike is good too, but for strike you need a 2-card combo often.

Of course, I love jank, so I had to bring a little spice: Destrudo. It started with me just needing an omni to stop evenly, so I included dragster. But, Pep was ridiculous. So many games i won by making a surprise pep and the opp couldnt do anything. And it has synergy with judgment. A pep when your LP is low is basically gg if it hits the field. To access destrudo i was running bystials, specifically magnamut, but i dropped the bystials when kash came because kash doesnt care.

As for handtraps, I dont like maxx c, it never resolved for me. Most of my climb was other handtraps like belle or shifter. That's up to you.

And the elephant in the room. Kash. Fenrir is one of the strongest cards i've ever seen, so that's an auto-include. Not sold on riseheart though. I never summoned him.
