Notes & Combos

So far, my coin flip luck has been pretty bad, but overall, I feel like I've been getting lucky with the amount of times I've gone second.

As for the deck, it's the same thing I ran as last season, however, I took out a Pudica and added in 2 Fenrir... given how strong (and dumb) it is. Haven't tried crafting Unicorn nor Riseheart as other techs, however, with my current list and stubbornness with things like Judgment/Strike/TT, I don't know if I'd have room.

With how things are in this meta, I'm a bit iffy with Barrier. It's still great and can win games, however, it's pretty iffy against Kash since if they just end on 2 level 7 mons, that's just as good, if not maybe better for them. So far, I feel like I've been lucky against them since when I go second, they usually go into Shangri-Ira and I usually have Ash/Imperm to stop them on my turn or I just have enough traps to stop them from getting going. (Barrier would help here though if I had something like TT set to get rid of Shangri-Ira) Haven't been hit by Mind Hacker either. Tear still is a menace though.. and Barrier has definitely won me games still. Just not when I open 2 and draw a 3rd against Dlink going second lol

I wouldn't mind adding in Aussa into the ED, however, I'm not sure what I'd want to cut. The "best" choice is probably Asophiel, however, I like having an option to bounce a monster from my ED.

As for what I have currently in the ED, I think I've gone into everything this season.. except for maybe Goddess.. however, I do like having another "out" to things like Avramax and at worst, it can be used to pop a 3k or lower monster with Punishment.

Speaking of Punishment, it can still be rough to use correctly.. but I'm greedy and still like having 2 targets to search with Ecclesia. It also is nice to get sometimes depending on what you have for backrow interactions if you set things up well enough. I wouldn't say anything though if you wanted to cut it.. however, that limits Ecclesia a bit more / might telegraph what you have already if you get her out and don't search anything. At least she's still a 4* extender though that doesn't lock you out of the ED if you just use the special summon effect. (and didn't use Nadir to get her to your hand)
