It was a fairly easy climb, not much struggling. There was the occasional loss, either due to bad match up or a brick had. I will say, a brick hand was rare for me. Not sure about whether the deck is better going first or second, although I did play 3 evenly and ultimate slayer.
The plays are easy, you want to activate your kash cards before your dogmatika card, to deal with negates or any interruptions. My opponents tended to active their cards early thinking it was a full kashtira deck. Also going into a rank 7 is a play you may want to use, which wouldn’t be able to do if you activate a dogmatika card early since they lock you out of the ED. Although I will say that using XYZ monsters was not an every game play, but still something I went into often.
