Decent banlist, honestly. Clearly based on what was popular at the time, unfortunately, pure Mitsurugi paid a hefty price for its participation in Yummy's popularity with a simple Prayers to 1. As a result, pure often loses to 1 handtrap.
Diviner kind of helps? Unlike Lamia or Aramasa, it plays through Bloss on Saji if you lead Habakiri. The problem is opening Habakiri ">w<
Just for fun, and to hopefully draw some attention to Solfa-Yummy -- the competitor to Mitsu-Yummy which received a mere slap on the wrist compared to Mitsurugi's hit -- I included an Orange Light tech package:
- Diviner sends Arc Light
- Arc Light searches Habakiri
- Habakiri summons Saji tributes Diviner
- Diviner summons Eva
- Saji + Eva = IP
- Eva banishes Diviner and Arc Light, adding Orange Light and Diviner. You're now either isolated or have an additional negate-pop
I dropped this deck for Dracotail-Branded after reaching M5. The glaring weakness of opening one starter, getting it handtrapped, and passing on no engine was too frustrating for me to play pure beyond that.
