Notes & Combos
Climbed from Platinum 5 to Master 1 with RDA. Had a 8-win streak (of which I won 2 coinflips, lost 6 coinflips) that pushed me from M3 to M1 in the end.
This decklist is not for you if you want to bring out the different RDA big bosses. If you love playing a midrange style of deck like Fiendsmith Control, I believe you will enjoy this as well.
At the start, I was using a pure version of the deck, but ranked was a struggle - Going second was just horrible. Even if you resolve Maxx "C", as long as the opponent prevents bone archfiend and power vice dragon, it pretty much is over (same case going first). Not to mention the deck has a good chance of bricking.
Although you can achieve a higher ceiling by running some of the other resonators and the boss monsters (There are several videos showcasing the crazy endboard it can achieve online), but those are mainly when you are go first uninterrupted. There are plenty of other decks that can also do the same when going first uninterrupted, so I decided to make several changes so that I have a decent chance in the match even when going second.
Additions
Albaz + F&V - Albaz alone gives access to a lvl 8 synchro, as well as F&V. (Note: You cannot access synchros other than lvl 8 after you use Albaz's hand effect)
Kewl Tune B2B - A generally useful card whether as a board piece or to push for game.
Dominus Impulse - An amazing handtrap that helps going second immensely but be mindful that it turns off Lubellion/Malong/Ecclesia.
Bystial Regained (+Lubellion) - One of my favorite cards that I also use in Fiendsmith/Metalmorph Control, this card along with Crimson Gaia helps with the grind game, and Crimson Blade dragon gives access to Lubellion which searches for Regained.
Red Dragon Archfiend's Chain - A useful monster negate whether going first or second, just note that when you reveal a tuner for it's effect, you MUST be able to target 2 monsters on the opponent field, if not you will not be able to activate the card.
Cards I cut:
Resonators (Chain, Synkron, Crimson) - They help to improve endboard ceiling, but are huge bricks that doesn't fit here.
Crimson Dragon Quetzacoatl - Without the other resonators, this card is hard to bring out in games. I chose to cut this for Storm-Bane Dragon.
Hot Red Dragon Archfiend - Again, for the same reason as Crimson Dragon, this card is also hard to bring out in games. However, you could choose to run this instead of Storm-Bane Dragon if you like.
