Notes & Combos

I wasn't expecting to be back so soon but Mathmech has once again proven why it's the best (not really but it's still extremely good) deck this season. My build is pretty standard with the main difference being the lack of crossout.

Crossout is a card I took out during the last portion of my climb and I didn't really miss it. While it was really strong when going first thanks to it being able to negate basically any handtrap in this build sans nibiru, drawning it while going second made it useless in almost any situation. It did make Maxx "C" slightly more irritating but it made going second proportionally more bearable.

As for the rest of the main deck it felt really good. The only things I'd possibly change are removing 1 Belle for and Ogre, removing eccentrick demon since the deck has enough bridges and it's backrow pop while good didn't always come up, lastly removing the imperm for another veiler would be preferable but the difference is slight enough for me to not justify the price.

Now it's time for the extra and the main attraction itself Terahertz. And I can confidently say it surpassed my expectetions by a wide margin. This thing does everything, it turned out to be, albeit slightly, the most consistent otk option between the three bosses of deck, with 2 extenders it was often part of the end board and it can help get diameter in grave if you get drolled. As for it's partner in crime Merelogic Aggregator I have to say that it was pretty useless, I didn't once use it during my climb and it's definetly a flex spot. Next up the mech, the myth, the legend Final Sigma who while the weakest of the three came up fairly often, plus it's a dopamine rush.

The rest of the extra deck is self explanatory. Although I'd heavily recommend removing the second splash mage for link spider since Nibiru came up more often than the second splash mage.

The relevant replays are all on the 26th of september and from top to bottom they are:

Handtrap war against Salamangreat.

Really close win against Swordsoul. An alt play would be to crush or beat over Chixiao(draw dependent) and then during the draw phase clearing barrone and the card in hand with superfact.

OTKing purrelly under Maxx "C" with Final Sigma to minimise their draws.

Showcasing the Transcode Heatsoul endboard again Runick Stun.
